If I want to buy/lease a building coded E in North Carolina, how would I find them?

Details:

I'm looking to start an IOP program in North Carolina, and one of the requirements is that the building be coded as Group E.

I'm wondering how I find buildings coded as such that are available, and also, is it possible to get a building coded as B changed to group E?

Looking for advice from architects/general contractors/anyone who may know.
