If I tell my therapist that I have a plan to kill myself, what would most likely happen to me?

Well you shouldn't have a plan like that :( it's crossed my mind before...and she'll probably tell your parents (if your a teenager) and have you admitted to the psychiatric ward...I'm 16 and emo btw and i used to cut my ankles (i felt like it wad easier to hide i guess)...and it didn't help. I've thought of death and i just can't, it would hurt to many people...even those who don't show there concern...like my dad. I know it probably seems strange and obviously i don't know you but i already care about you...I'd like to help you...maybe as someone to talk to?...please?...
