If I purchase Fire Emblem Birthrights and complete chapter 6, will I get Revelations unlocked?

Details:

I already have Conquest and have beaten Chapter 6 so I want to know that if I get Birthrights, will it unlock the third path when I beat chapter 6. I'm still new to it all so please help. Or do I just need a/the code?

You need to purchase it (unless you got the collector's edition) which you can do from the eshop or get a physical copy.
