If I own a house and I am renting it out through an estate agent, is the house considered a business

I own a house that i am currently renting out to a small family, the family is on a contract term of 1 year. The house is being monitored and checked through an estate agent, the estate agent was the one who found the family. 

Is the house considered a business (i am doing it to make a profit) or an investment?

Answer

no it is not considered a bussiness your just renting it out the estate agent will do things that are up keep or replace things only when you say its okay to repair you are involved to the point where the house is monitored during up keep and manage it for you
