If I make a comic do I need to include copyright information?

I made a funny comic about Oddish that can't use handheld appliances and before I post it, do I need to include stuff like "ALL THIS BELONGS TO POKEMON INCORPORATED BLA BLA". I'd rather not but I would like to know if I have too.

Answer

It depends on how you are using the comic. If you plan to criticize, comment, or parody the work, you should be fine under the laws of fair use. However, if you create the comic for money, and actively charge people for it, you'll have to state that <Blah blah blah> belongs to Nintendo and The Pokemon Company... 

So, I'm pretty sure you're fine.
