If I have multiple employers, what do I say on an apartment application?

I am applying for an apartment, and I'm a handy man, I work for whoever needs the labor work. I have no initial Employer. So what do i put down where it says 'Name of Employer' ?

Tell them you have references and you work on contract with different clients that about how you  would have to do it .Mabe you could get a few refrerences from your clients show them reciepts.
