I want to get a full shoulder piece and I've also been losing weight and toning up. Im deploying to Afghanistan sometime next month and want to get the tat before I go because I may not make it back and I really want it. So I a. On continuing to tone up, but my concern is will the tattoo look bad if I tone my arms. They r not fat and have no extra flab, they r just not toned. Thanks to all who answer.

With small size or weight differences, will not make your tattoo look bad in any way.
Bigger size changes will however, distort it. (example: women who get a tattoo on their belly then get pregnant, will distort the picture, even when they return to their normal size)
All tattoos fade over time though, just need to get it re-done.
