Since the US does not have an extradition treaty with Venezuela, US can not extradite you and convict you in the US, but does that mean Venezuela will take matters into their own hands?
If I commit a murder in the US and move immediately to Venezuela, will Venezuela convict me?

Besides, what happens in practice may differ from documentation. The government of the country whither you've fled may opt to turn you in, per an individual request basis. Murder in general doesn't put you in anyone's favour, on the side of law at least. Crime with a cause, that will depend on who stands to gain from it.
