If I am curently enlisted in marines and it is for sure I wont graduate HS on time can I take my GED

I am currently enlisted in the US marines and I will go to basic after I graduate from High School, there in lies the problem. I slacked off during my first two years and there is no way I can graduate on time, can I take my GED if I drop out?

Answer

You will need to contact your recruiter about it and see what he/she says.  I know you have to have some sort of diploma or GED but I am not sure if it HAS to be a diploma.
