Scientists experiments for determining age's isn't always reliable. The only method to give almost exact dates is, radiocarbon dating. Although, this method isn't entirely exact.
Scientists determine the age of objects by the area they are found in. For example, if they believe the land tested is 400,000 years old, they would consider anything found on the site, around 400,000 years old.
Those secular scientists are way,way off.Still possible though the earth is approx 8-10000 yrs old according to Bible times and Christian Scientists. The carbon 14 test they use has been found not as accurate as they claim it to be.they get the age of fossils from rocks and age of rocks from fossils & faulty carbon 14 tests.read up on creation books and writings.
The Bible relates that in ancient times people lived much longer, in some cases almost one thousand years.. Modern technology has enabled scientists to take a closer look at the human body including its amazing capacity for regenerating and healing itself. Their conclusion is that humans are capable of living indefinitely. “[Aging],” says Professor of Medicine Tom Kirkwood, “remains one of the great mysteries of medical science.”
The Bible book of Genesis speaks of seven men who lived more than 900 years, all of them being born prior to the Flood of Noah’s day. They were Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Jared, Methuselah, and Noah. (Genesis 5:5-27; 9:29) Many of these men may be unfamiliar to most people, but all of them were among the first ten generations in human history. Methuselah is well-known for having lived the longest—a record 969 years!
To many people, though, Bible accounts of individuals who lived such long lives are nothing but myths. Do not assume that what God has promised is just a dream. Jesus said: “He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has everlasting life.” (John 5:24). Over Eight million people from all nations, cultures and color have embraced this hope and are now living their lives according to Bible principles.
But today we are closer to the time when God’s promise will be fulfilled. Soon all traces of sin and imperfection will be gone, and people will not have to degenerate and die.—Revelation 21:3,4... Isaiah 33:24; Titus 1:2.
