Im having trouble with this it makes me question whether blood pressure regulation falls under homeostasis or not
If homeostasis is controlled by the hypothalamus why is bp regulation controled by medulla oblongata

Homeostasis is Greek for "standing still." It is a vague concept applying to an entire creature or system. There is a reflex in the knee that activates a muscle in the back of the leg, and that makes it possible to stand still without thinking much about keeping your balance. That is an example of homeostasis, but not an example of anything controlling anything.
