The definition of God is that (Let's call God a he) he is someone whom is omnipotent and omniscience meaning that he has unlimited knowledge and power. Also if he is the creator of all then he also made evil himself. This apply to any religion that involves a God, may it be Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, etc..
This question is just to expand my knowledge about what others think of this, opinion helps people gain knowledge xD ^_^
If God is the Creator of All, did God also create evil itself (Any Religion)?

Yeah . I agree with Josh so basically what he explained. God gave this amazing angel power that he couldn't handle. He turned against God because he couldn't be like him.
God doesn't want to have a relationship with us where he forces us to only live by his word-he wants us to have a choice- to believe in him or not. He did create Lucifer-he did not create his evil thoughts though-he created everyone's ability to think whatever they want-so basically, God is not the creator of evil-we are.
As Schonpenhauer(A famous pessimist philosopher) said:
"It is problematical what 'goodness' could mean in relation to a god. (Does God know what is good, or define the good?) In any case, Wille cannot be good if the world (which is Wille) is evil. "
Whereas "Wille" = Conciousness
Evil began on earth when Satan told the first lie. Satan was originally a perfect angel, but “he did not stand fast in the truth.” (John 8:44) He developed a desire for worship that rightly belongs only to God. Satan lied to the first woman, Eve, and persuaded her to obey him instead of God. Adam joined Eve in disobeying God. Adam’s decision led to suffering and death.—Read Genesis 3:1-6, 19.
When Satan suggested that Eve disobey God, he was starting a rebellion against God’s sovereignty, or position as Most High. The majority of mankind have joined Satan in rejecting God as their Ruler. Thus, Satan has become “the ruler of the world.”—Read John 14:30; 1 John 5:19.
All of God’s works are perfect. The humans and angels whom God created were capable of obeying God perfectly. (Deuteronomy 32:4, 5) God created us with the freedom to choose between doing good and doing evil. That freedom gives us a way to express love for God.—Read James 1:13-15; 1 John 5:3.
Why has God allowed suffering until now?
For a limited time, Jehovah has allowed rebellion against his sovereignty. Why? To show that no effort to rule without him benefits people. (Ecclesiastes 7:29; 8:9) After 6,000 years of human history, the evidence is clear. Human rulers have failed to eliminate war, crime, injustice, or disease.—Read Jeremiah 10:23; Romans 9:17.
In contrast to human rulership, God’s rule benefits those who accept it. (Isaiah 48:17, 18) Soon, Jehovah will bring all human government to an end. Only people who choose to be ruled by God will inhabit the earth.—Isaiah 11:9; ReadDaniel 2:44.
Rightly, Jehovah brought evil or calamity upon Adam for his disobedience. Hence, in the Scriptures, Jehovah is referred to as the Creator of evil or calamity. (Isa 45:7.) His enforcing of the penalty for sin, namely, death, has proved to be an evil, or a calamity, for mankind. So, then, evil is not always synonymous with wrongdoing. Examples of evils or calamities created by Jehovah are the Flood of Noah’s day and the Ten Plagues visited upon Egypt. But these evils were not wrongs. Rather, the rightful administration of justice against wrongdoers was involved in both cases. However, at times Jehovah, in his mercy, has refrained from bringing the intended calamity or evil in execution of his righteous judgment because of the repentance on the part of those concerned. (Jonah 3:10) Additionally, in having a warning given, Jehovah has undeservedly provided opportunities for the practicers of bad to change their course and thus to keep living.—Eze 33:11.
I am using the words of John Marsden, or his idea anyway. In one of his books, he says that evil is a human creation. I am not Christian (Actually, I don't have a religion, but I believe everyone has the right to whichever religion) but I think that John is right. Nature knows no evil, or good, or anything. All it knows is Life and Death. And the cycles of the world. I am not meaning to offend anyone so if this has offended you, please do not take it to heart.
To answer your question first we must see where did evil begin. Evil began on earth when Satan told the 1st lie. Satan was originally a perfect angel, but " he did not stand fast in the truth." (John 8:44) He developed a desire for worship that rightly belongs only to God. So did God create something defective? Far from the truth. All of God's works are perfect. The humans and angels whom God created were capable of obeying God perfectly. God created us with freedom to choose between good and doing evil. Satan was the first to choose evil and in that way created evil not God.

I very much like the answer peewitt gave on the true meaning of evil and calamity. No parents give birth to a thief or murderer however the child can make himself a thief or a murderer . So explains James 1:13-15. So God create a perfect angel who chose to become a satan which means slanderer and devil which means opposer.
I agree with Peewit and Vicki. God cannot create evil because he is perfect and all his creation is perfect.
Before he created the earth he had the angelic throng in Heaven, this included the pre-human Jesus and also the angel we now know as Satan the Devil. This angel was created perfect and with free will. When he saw the earth that God had created and the humans Adam and Eve, he wanted their worship and hence told the first lie which led to sin and death.
Romans 5 v12.
Let's illustrate,if you have a child and that child does evil things, does that mean your child were born evil? Not at all your child won't born evil but choose to become evil. Similarly when God created Satan the devil he created him a perfect good angel but Satan decided to become evil after. He wanted to become like God so he started deceiving people so he could direct them away from God and cause them to loose their relation with God so they could follow him instead. God's word the bible tells us at 2Corintians 4:4 that,"among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God,might not shine through." This is why there is so much of evil in the world today, because the god of this world Satan the devil have been for decades been misleading people turning them away from god and instead to do what is bad so they could be his followers.. What a sad situation to be in. Hope this was able to clarify that our Heavenly Creator never created evil . He is a God of love unlike his opponent who is a god of evil.
When Jehovah said that Adam and Eve would die if they ate from the tree, that was, technically, the beginning of evil (Genesis 2:16, 17). Because eating from the tree would be evil. However, when Satan lied to Eve, that was the first evil act (Genesis 3:4 ; John 8:44 ).
Yes, God has created this entire drama. It is called Leela, it is just a show. And why God created evil is something God knows, but for our understanding, every movie needs both comedy and tragedy. Unless there is black, we cannot appreciate white; unless there is sorrow, we cannot experience joy. Therefore, as a part of God's drama there is good and evil. But in reality, there is no evil, nothing is good or bad, everything is perfect, it is relative to our own interpretation of what is good and bad. When we realize the Truth that everything is beautiful, then we will stop looking at evil.
But he was also the one who made the people to have that kind of choices, making them think about evil. How would they know evil anyway without that? If he created a peaceful world how then?
In Christian- They knew evil by Lucifer, Lucifer tempted Eve to eat the fruit, but who created Lucifer's thoughts it was God right? So the question still applies here.
