well i think it would depend on how long you have been texting back and fourth things to consider how long have you been texting back and fourth did you just meet him on line how well do you know him i would say he got interuped and may be someone or somebody might have needed him for something anything could have happened i would go ahead and start the conversation see what becomes of it
