I've been wanting to create a website for quite a while now. I have a number of different interests but I'm not sure how to channel them into a website. I don't want my website to be a copycat of someone else.
If you could make a website what would you do with it?
Sorry, my comment wasn't very useful. It shouldn't really have been made but I was annoyed at a politician and I think you got the brunt of it.
If you think of a website as something that either informs, entertains, or fulfills some need in the community, what is it that you have personally that can do one of those things? Alternatively, you could look at it from the other direction and ask why you want a website, and see if there's anything else that could fulfill those needs in you. I'd tend to focus on the outwards direction than the towards, though.
I was thinking about a business website. Selling my own floor plans for homes and small businesses. I guess I would still need a license to do that first.
Sounds like an interesting idea. Maybe the site could be about you and what you would bring to a build or remodel and then when you've done a few it can also be a showcase of your work.
Beyond that, I'll admit it's not an area I know much about (floor plans, not web sites). I guess that means I'd be hiring you too if I ever buy a place!
Okay, I got the idea. Now I just need to make it happen.
My floor plans would be 50 cents per square foot. so a 1000 square foot floor plan would cost $500. I've seen plans that cost $2,000 even up to $5,000.
