I have my suspicion that I have irritable bowel syndrome as my symptoms mostly resemble a close family member of mine. I've have been unable, for around 3 months, to eat normal portion sizes, because I would have pain, nausea, bloating and cramps. However, I have not lost my appetite. So as a result I have lost my sanity a few times and binged, which makes me crippled with pain. Can anyone recommend ways of avoiding bingeing. Even with food out of sight, when I lose sanity I'm like a wolf on the hunt. I eat around 6 small meals a day, and that's pushing it for my stomach. When I say meals, I mean portions that are around 1/4 cup size. Any recommandations between now and the next time I see my gastro? I'm going

when you have meals reduce their portions through your day and it might take a week or so to adhere your stomach to get use theses changes you would have to reduce your portion size the other thing is and its very important see the dr if you have questions or suspect you might have ibs cause you need to be evauated for this they have medications for that
