... From the opposite side a kohls a loss prevention officer stopped at my car telling me to get out and go with him saying I stole the coat I was wearing. They have no footage of me because I was in a dressing room trying on clothes. He began cursing at me. The coat I wore into the store was the same coat I wore out of the store and nothing went off. I refused to go with the man not knowing if he really was who he said he was by how he was acting. He chased after my car and got my plate numbers contacting the police. What should I expect next?

Expect nothing. If you have done nothing wrong the CCTV footage will bear out your side of the story. That is assuming they can be bothered to review it. If you honestly feel wronged by this and are certain you've done nothing wrong then you have good grounds to sue the store. If, and it's a big if, they actually do begin a legal process contact your lawyer and seek further advice though personally I highly doubt they will bother. Sounds more like the guy was being a little pocket hitler, an over officious kindergarten cop.
Stay calm. If they call you up tell them the truth the footage will show that your telling the truth. They can't get you in trouble. the officer was being aggressive and you weren't (I'm guessing being rude to start off with or at all) . He Took Advantage Of his Position and Harassed you.
