... would make me feel. I started on Wed 3-8-17. I took half (.25mg) for 5 days. On Friday i took the other half at night after the first one wore off. I'm assuming because the .25 isn't very strong that it isn't working very long so I've considered going ahead and taking the whole tablet as originally prescribed. I'm just wondering if there is going to be a very noticeable difference in the way it effects me? The first day i took the half dose i slept for 3 hours after, i had never taken Xanax before... If I take the full dose now, will it knock me out again or since I'm pretty use to it, will it not make me as drowsy? Thanks for any help!
I was prescribed .5mg Xanax for anxiety. I was told I could cut it in half if I wanted to see how it

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS research any prescription drug before taking it. You can go to drugs.com or google.com and type the name in the search box.
"Common side effects of Xanax include: ataxia, cognitive dysfunction, constipation, difficulty in micturition, drowsiness, dysarthria, fatigue, memory impairment, skin rash, weight gain, weight loss, anxiety, blurred vision, diarrhea, insomnia, decreased libido, increased appetite, and decreased appetite. Other side effects include: hypotension, sexual disorder, muscle twitching, and increased libido. See below for a comprehensive list of adverse effects." ~ drugs.com
You can go to google.com and type "define ataxia" or whatever to get explanations of what words mean.
a·tax·i·a
əˈtaksēə,āˈtaksēə/
noun Medicine
noun: ataxia; noun: ataxy
the loss of full control of bodily movements.
You should also study some books on nutrition because a lot of conditions are due to poor nutrition and doctors have no training in that field. So you can avoid a lot of unpleasantness by just knowing a few things. The first line of defense against depression and anxiety is B vitamins. Get nutritional yeast powder and/or B-100 pills. Vitamin B2 is a water soluble dye that turns urine bright yellow. When the color fades, it's time for another dose.
