... There is a designated space that says no parking at the back of the lot for vehicles to help them back out of spots with out harming other vehicles. This day as I was backing out of my space a car pulled up and parked in that no parking zone which lead to me backing into them. What's worse is at the scene they first claimed no insurance and wanted cash on scene(I didn't give them anything because it didn't seem), then later turns into a phone call wanting me to pay for repair damage which they told me 2200. Still no insurance involved. So I went to where I was told they received there price quote, seeing how I was only given numbers but no actual documents like a insurance company would. While I was picking up the papers I asked the man behind the counter if could give me the listed value of the car as well and printed something from KBB. The vehicle is 96 Buick regal in less then fair condition was valued at $500 Max. Since I wasn't dealing with a insurance I offered to give her value of her car (which I believe to be logical). But I never got a reply. Nearly 2 months later I get a phone call from a state farm attorney demanding an obscene amount of money or they will be submitting a request to have my licence suspended. A couple days later like 4 days I get letter saying they submitted the request nearly a week before I known about it. I'm not sure if I'm at fault for the accident first of all second isn't there a process of informing a person when a claim has been filled against them and does the insurance company have to share damage cost estimates they receive and finally how was the owner of the vehicle able to file a claim after an accident when claiming not to have insurance. I don't know what to do
