I was bullied really bad. Why did they do that?

In general, a bully(s) is very insecure, so they hurt (physically/verbally) other people to make themselves feel more "powerful". This gives the bully a false sense of security. Bullies also hurt others, because they are angry and resentful and feel the "need" to make someone else unhappy too. Bullies feel they must be greater then everyone else, so they put everyone around them down to satisfy such "feeling".

I was also bullied. In my case, everyone was afraid of the bully. So in order to fit in they also turned around and decided to bully me too. I guess I didn't quite fit in. The more I tried to fit in and please them, the more they bullied me. I eventually stopped trying to fit in and distanced myself away from them, because they were never going to be my TRUE friends anyway.

I don't know how they bullied you...but remember you are and always will be treasured by God. He loves you very much.

Take care - Christa
