I wanted to know if I could run games on my computer and my dad says my computer is too slow?

so i got portal and originally he said it would not run it but it ran fine. So i wanted to know if i could run other games like Black Ops COD games Batman ect. here are the things i know about my computer. (keep in mind im only 13 so im not too good with computers....

2.00GB of RAM Platinum(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz 2.81GHz (I have Windows XP Version 2002) My video Card is: GeForce 6200 its memory size is 512MB ( i just got this Video Card like a couple of months ago) and can you tell me what all of this stuff means? and ask me anything else you might need to know to know if i can play PC games like the PC games listed above...Thanks!

first install an antivirus software which destroys all the viruses . the viruses may be the cause  your system to respond slow.if your system meets the system requirement of your favourite particular game you may play it. ALL THE BEST !!!

You can still play the games but the games might run more slowly on your computer and it might be harder to play. I suggest running a program (like the ones shown on TV) that make your computer faster. That's what I did to mine and it really made it faster
