I want to study ancient religions, history and mythology. Any ideas of a route to take courses etc?

I want to study ancient religions, history and mythology. I am 30 and I have no qualifications worth talking about as unfortunately in my younger years I was not focussed. Any ideas of a route to take courses etc.Thanks.

There is a very good book I can recommend called, "Mankinds search for God".  It is published by the Watchtower Bible & Tract society.  It covers nearly all the religions, how they started and what they believe.  You can go on line at www.JW.org
