Before I go on, I have to say that I mean everything I'm about to say in the most modest way possible!
I really want to become a YouTuber but none of my family supports me but all of my friends do. I want to be a funny YouTuber because I am hilarious and I love to make people laugh and I would love to do it for a living. I am well aware that these things don't always work out but I've never wanted anything more in my entire life and I just know that if I end up not trying to become a Youtuber/comedian I'm gonna hate the job I end up having. So my question is, Should I just give up and do something more realistic or should I follow my dreams no matter what anyone else thinks?
Actually, there are lots of YouTubers that ARE making a career out of YouTube, for example; Lilly Singh, Colleen Ballinger, Pewdiepie, Connor Franta, etc. These people do YouTube and nothing else, YouTube is their job and they get paid for it, they don't have any other job, and even after a few years they STILL make videos so please get your facts right before answering. I understand that these things don't always work out but I think I should at least give it a try because making people laugh is the only thing I enjoy and I'd love to do it for a career and of course I'll give my self something to fall back on but you can get paid on YouTube and it can be a career. IMHO you're kind of stupid.
