1. Drag the file icon into the printer icon.
2. Start your word processor (Notepad will do), load the file, and click the printer icon in the toolbar.
3. Start your word processor (Notepad will do), load the file, and press Ctrl-P.
4. Start your word processor (Notepad will do), load the file, click "File" (upper left corner of the screen), select "Print".
5. All the above assumes a text file. If you click on the file icon, that starts the default program for that file, such as a viewer for pictures. All the above actions work the same.
In the lower left corner of your screen is a Windows icon. Click that and you get a menu of menus. Click each of those and you get another menu. Study these until you have seen all the options that apply to your computer. Every program you use has a menu of its own tools, so you should do the same in each program. Anything you point at with your cursor has a context menu which you get by right clicking the mouse. For instance you can right click the desk top and get a menu to change your screen resolution and even turn the picture upside down if your video driver allows that. You don't have to memorize all this stuff, just remember that it is available and how to find it when you want it. And then you can claim to know how to use a computer at the beginner level.
