Okay, so I really want to join the army and have since I was little, but in high school I was put in a youth psych hospital on a 5150 for a total misunderstanding and when I was released I had to sign a contract saying I couldn't own a gun for five years. Now how serious is this contract? Is there any way I could appeal it? If I have to wait the whole five years for it to go away will it just disappear like it never existed or will it still be on my medical record or whatever? Any information would really be helpful!!!
