I want to become a SCIENTIST in physics so what can I do to become?

i had completed my 10 career.iam confused either to take diploma or 11 and 12

Complete 11 and 12 with physics first. Then  become graduate either in Bsc or in Btech. Then complete Msc or Mtech. Then try to do Phd in physics to become scientist.
