i agree with teaspace. while it is fun it does need a college education. you would actually be working more than playing. there are ways to download game designing software i'm not sure which engines are available but i think you'd enjoy game testing more than designing. i heard it's easier to get into but most testers are self employed i think. to be a tester you also need good spelling and grammar. you play games alot so i assume you know how to learn the controls on a new game within a few minutes. i'll look into more of this.
Thanks im shure this will help ill look into it more and again thanks for answer
Thanks for the brilliant advice and ill carry on searching. Also ill look into game testing. Thanks alot again.
game testing is something i've wanted to do since the 10th grade. it's one of the jobs most real gamers want. getting payed to play and criticise.
Yeah it is certainaly something ill look up on by anychance know any good game tetesting websites? Also is it hard to become one may i ask?
i don't know of any websites for game testing but i'd image that you'd have to convince who ever is interviewing you that you're better than the rest. the number of testers they hire is limited.
Ok thanks for the help.
i did find another site called "www.sloperama.com" that has an FAQ about game testing. if you can't find the FAQ just google "game testing websites" it should be on the first couple of links.
Thanks for advice if you have any questions ill be glad to help and anychance you have ps3
yes i do have a PS3. my user name is sprogram_ if that is what your asking feel free to send me a friend request.
Yes thanks mine is BLACKOPS_GENUIS so if you get friend request its me
i did see your friend request and added you to my list.
I know someone that used to work for Nintendo but it was too long of hours. I also used to want to work on the ideas for a game since that seems to be the fun part. It's actually very difficult now because of all the code that is used and I think that there won't be much designing choice but I may be wrong. In my opinion the code is boring and the fun part would be deciding what to create. Adults don't tend to like to play them and people tend to outgrow the idea of becoming a video game maker. There's code that is not easy to understand and maybe someday people can make video games without code. There's a free program that uses C programming language that a lot of the designers use. I'm pretty sure they need code in the program though to do difficult tasks. It may not be fun.
there's a website called "www.gamecareerguide.com" this should give you alot of answers. more than i can give at least.
