I really want this thing called ear fold which involves getting your ears pushed back. My ears stick out a bit and I have never put my hair up. They have made my life a misery. I avoid sports, and swimming and stuff to avoid letting my ears being seen. I am so self conscious about them that I can't do anything. I get jealous of all the girls that can normally put their hair up but I can't. It's made me so upset recently after visiting a doctor about surgery but she said I should just try putting my hair up so it covers my ears as my ears "don't stick out a lot" but she doesn't know how I feel - nobody does. Anyone have advice or help?

Did the doctor you visit tell you that they "don't stick out a lot," and mean that they don't stick out enough for surgery to be possible? Or did they just say that they "don't stick out a lot" to mean that you shouldn't care about them?
If they meant the later, and seemed to invalidate your feelings, then I'd advise seeing another doctor!
Your concerns about your body are valid, and everyone has things about their body that they wish to change. It's their right to pursue changing these things. A regular doctor might not be able to do anything-- they are only allowed to make surgical changes if there is something affecting you negatively that is an immediate and possibly fatal threat. You should consider pursuing a plastic surgeon instead. They're experts in interacting with people who want to improve the way they look in a way to help them feel better, and certainly won't be judgmental about the fact that you want to change your ears.
Good luck!
No problem! They're your ears and I know personally that the little things can really get to you sometimes! You'll be the one ultimately living with them, so if you don't like them, and have the chance to change them, go for it! Make yourself happy. :)
Thankyou this helped, yes she said it like I shouldn't worry about them even though I do and they are my only thing I am VERY self conscious about. But thanks :)
