I think I got a D in my English language GCSE. And passed all my other subjects with C and above. Can I resist my English language gcse whilst doing my 3 A-levels in sixth form? I really don't want to spend a year doing English language again then starting my A-levels

Yes, you can. In fact, your school will probably make you do that as grade C is the benchmark for most further education.
