I guess because you told her you loved her in a text and now she doesn't know what to think, she's uncomfortable. Just give her some time and talk to her in person and don't be pushy.
Tell this girl that it slipped and you didn't mean to freak her out but you still like her. As I said before don't be pushy, don't rush into it. If she's not interested in dating etc. accept it. that doesn't mean you can't still be friends and talk to her in person not over the phone.
Girls usually take a long time to answer for various possibilities:
1. don't know what to answer, and feel like need time to think
2. Feel uncomfortable dealing with those kinds of feelings
3. Don't feel the same way about you
For any of these three cases just be clear that there is nothing to worry about, joke about it, and tell her that it wasn't like you asked her to marry you, and tell her that you feel like both of you need to get over it :P
