... a little closer and I was amazed at how much detail I saw. As I filmed the star it expanded and contracted very slowly but changed shape from large to small in about 3 to 4 minutes and then it was tiny on my camcorder. I was not zooming in and out it was oomed in 100%. As close as I could get. And on the camcorder screen that flips out it took up about 70 to 80 percent of the screen and then in a matter of 5 minutes it would go down to about 10% of the screen sometimes 5% of the screen or less. Very small. then in 5 minutes it expanded again to taking up most of the screen. I am extremely fascinated by this and I have tried to google it but I can't find comments made by professionals about this process. Does somebody know about this? Why does it expand to almost 20 times its size in less than 5 minutes and contract again to 20 times smaller than its size 5 minutes later? It was shaped exactly like a baseball diamond. Maybe I was staring at something other than a star. I don't know. maybe someone out there does. E.T. Phone Home?
