I rent a 2 bedroom house and one of the rooms I rented for a friend of mine, can my landlord Hold?

well if he wanted to and knew that you were rented out to your friend he may think he was left out of the loop now if you think about it did you break your lease but shouldn't  as long as he was getting his money but watch those landlords they can slither by
