Hello omar95,
Not to worry, nails grow back properly, but it will take some time.
Two year ago I dropped a tv on my big toe and after a few days of pain and swelling the nail fell off.
Weeks later it started to grow back, but it was all curved and weird looking, not to mention seriously painful on my nail-bed (the tender skin beneath the nail).
By the time the nail part had grown back fully, it still wasn't connected to the nail-bed, the tissues hadn't reformed or anything yet.
I treated it normally though, clipping it and polishing it and what not.
It took almost two months for it to grow back and connect to the nail-bed, but now it looks fine and is completely normal.
Unless you are in serious, unending pain, I would recommend keeping it clean and not worrying, it will right itself and all will be well in time. Plus fingernails grow back faster then toenails.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
I was at the gym and a dumbbell fell on my finger and the nail detached from the nail bed and 3 months passed since this injury it grow back but as I said curved to the right ,so I went to the doctor and he told me it wont go back to normal so I wanted to know if anyone had an accident like this before and share his experience with me.
