I recieved 2 abusivr messages on Facebook saying what goes around comes around and I can't wait to get you comeuppance and the other calling me a slapper then a month later saying I was being lied to, this was about 3 months ago now I've heard nothing since, can police be contacted over harassment over fake profile or would they leave it?

The police should take action if you tell them what's going on and tell them how you feel about, like frightened or uncomfortable or something. If they do not then you might have to wait until that person that is sending you the said messages takes action on their own threats before they can do anything.
