... until she gave birth. the kittens stayed at the vet until they were 13 weeks old and then went to the humane society for three days until we picked them up. my family believed we were getting two healthy kittens but we found out one has calicivirus. we are now paying very expensive bills for the kitten. is it possible to sue the vet or the humane society for giving us a kitten that was ill without us knowing. the virus was either contracted at the vet or the humane society and there were precautions that could have been taken to prevent the virus
I recently adopted two kittens from the humane society. their mother was being fostered by our vet?

calicivirus is like a normal virus in the way that there are no antibiotics to treat it. however it is possible that the kitten will never be rid of the virus
