... out but we wont be dating until we go on a real date. i asked him yesterday if we were still going to date and he said idk i guess time will tell. i also freaked out when he tried to kiss me the other day and i think that made him upset. what does this mean i love this boy i really want to be with him. do you think we will date

I think the commercial world gives you a very limited perspective of relationships. It says you are either dating or not and to date you have to go places and do stuff. I have found that there is actually heaps of different ways to be with someone than going on specific dates, you can kinda just make it up as you go along. If you want to kiss him and he wants to kiss you, go for it, you don't need to be specifically dating (and not i'm not talking about "friends with benefits" or anything like that). If he's your best friend and you already spend a lot of time with him, keep spending time with him, maybe it will feel different, thats up to you. Also, talk to him about it and your feelings, boys can be pretty clueless as to what you are feeling. I hope this helped a bit. Good luck!
