I read that you can use food coloring to dye your hair, and I've been wanting to dip dye my hair?

...  bright blue. I have natural light blonde hair. I added the food coloring into my hair and when I rinsed it out, it got all over the rest of my hair, and turned it seaweed green. It won't come out, and it's extremely greasy no matter how much I shampoo it. Should I go to a salon?

Food dye in your hair is a kinder way to colour it and it shouldn't cause any problems.  If you cannot get the color out, use as much conditioner and shampoo the size of your palm or it will come out naturally with in a few weeks.
