I accidentally pored windshield fluid into my master brake cylinder. I'm no mechanic but I do know A couple of things. I never hit the brakes after I pored it so I know its not in the brake line but do I have to get the fluid out of the cylinder and add new brake fluid or is there more to it. Also I only added less than half a cup before I realized I screwed up.

you must bleed the brake system now. the best you call your mechanic of you need help for doing the following: open the bleed valves according to the cars service/user manual and drain the entire liquid, let your assistance press the brake petal until the system is empty, close the valves and fill in brake liquid until the canister is full. let the petal be pressed until you cannot press it anymore and then you have to open the valves acc. to the manual to get all air out of the system (otherwise the brakes don't work, or squeek or shudder). Best to call a mechanic
