You are on your way to a very painful condition called diverticulosis. If you don't get enough fiber to sweep out your colon, the food gets stuck and the colon becomes inflamed. It doesn't take much: two lices of whole wheat bread, or a bowl of bran cereal, or veggies with every meal.
You need about 0.4 gram of complete protein per pound of weight every day. You don't need more because you work out or less because you loaf. If you eat more than you need, the excess is burned as ordinary but expensive calories. If you eat less, the body digests its muscles to make up the deficit. For convenience we only count 6 grams per egg, 12 grams per glass of milk, and 24 grams per quarter pound of meat.
