I am the exact same age as you, and the exact same height. I'm self conscious about my weight and the clothes I wear, the foods I put into my mouth and of what people think of me; especially that last one.
See, the two of us are almost the same right?
Except I weigh 137. Embarrassing and gross, every pound. There are some girls like me who wish they were 115, or even 120. You might not want to hear this, I know I don't like this answer when people give it to me, but you are perfect just the way you are. You are exactly average, and not an ounce over. You're beautiful and there's only one of you.
If that wasn't what you needed to hear, maybe this will help you lose ten pounds.
1. Drink only water. I swear, cheesy and cliche, but I'm serious. You'd be surprised at the ingredients we drink everyday.
2. Squats are great, and I'm sure you do other things. But running or just jogging can do wonders. This increases your heart rate quicker than squats, and the fat burns quicker too.
3. Be careful of packaged foods, try to stick to foods "closest to the ground", or more natural foods.
4. Make a list of foods you would rather have than your ideal body. Then think really hard and cross one by one off. Desserts and sweets are good to get rid of first.
Just changing your diet will help you lose 10 pounds of water weight in a week. (Thats a tongue twister!) I may weigh more, but I tried these steps and lost 12 pounds. Of course over a year and a half I gained it all back, and then some. Still, it works.
If you're not satisfied with yourself now, I hope you will see one day how beautiful you are! Be confident and brave, and BELIEVE in yourself!
