I need to leave my plant for 2 weeks?

Details:

Im going on vacation for 2 weeks and i need to leave my pot plant alone. I've looked for ways to give it water while im away but none of them really help. I thought of wetting a cloth or some toilet paper and leaving it on top of the soil, before i leave. Will the water get to the soil? Will it work at all?

The best option would be to give the plant to a someone to look after.
Or you could try putting water in an empty plastic bottle and then stick the bottle upside down into the soil of the plant (without the lid) so the water can slowly get into the soil over time.

Yep try it. It works (at least for a shorter time, hopefully also for 2 weeks). But plant in kitchen sink with bottle in it, just in case. Good luck and good holidays. :-)
