... trespassing, taking pictures and when I was going down security guards came brought me into there office and detained me. I tried to film but there threaten to take my phone so I need some questions answered
1 what can I and can’t I do whilst being detained?
2 Can they detain me?
3 what rights do I have?
4 Can they touch me?
5 Can they search me or my belongings?
6 can I film?
7 Can they look through my phone and delete the pictures?
1 You may listen and answer there questions if they specify why you are being detained. 2 They can detain you if you are tresspassing and if they specify why they are detaining you. 3 You have the right to know why you are being detained
and to follow what they say. 4 They can touch you if you are resisting cooperation or if you threaten or act violently towards them. 5 They can search you and your belongings if the specify why they are doing it. 6 You can film them so long as it's not interfearing with what they are doing. 7 They can look through your phone if they specify why but they cannot delete any pictures. If something threatening was discovered in your pictures they would discard the phone instead.
Anytime you trespass onto someone else property you loose your rights. There is a reason why there are security guards hired. To protect the property and privacy of the owners. So no you can't go take pictures videos of someone's private property and expect to just walk away and no one say or do anything. Think about it what if you hired security to protect you and your property and they did nothing let people come take pictures videos of whatever they wanted and then your life home private life spread all over the internet. . Security guards are schooled and train just like law enforcement officers. They could have had you arrested and put in jail. . Sorry but if you looking for a legal loop holes to be able to trespass onto other peoples property and invade there privacy and person life there isn't one. Now if you can find away to take pictures while on public streets then you might have some legal ground to stand on.
