I'm in need of some help! I was cleaning my room when I found 3 Library books. They are way over due! I think I checked them out 2 years ago. Today, I just received a letter from my Library saying I have a fine of $59.90. I'm only 16, but I can pay the fine easily (my dad doesn't know though) But I don't know how about paying the fine? Do I just arrive at the Library with money in hand? I don't have checks that I can just flip out of my pocket and sign, or a visa card. I also recently lost my Library card (which I never use!) I just don't know how to go about paying this stupid fine!
I need help please!?

The letter told me these things :
-If after 30 days of the date of this notice your account balance is $25.00 or over, your account will be turned over to an outside collection agency. A non-refundable fee of $5.00 will be added to all accounts sent to a collection agency.
(I don't really understand what that means..)

i think you should go to the library you got the books from and ask the person at the front desk about your fees. if you don't have your library card anymore they might just ask you for your name and other simple information so they could look up your account so you could get the fees payed.
