I need help my friend wants his tag back and its in his name and I dont have money for a tag?

If it's his and he wants it back just be honest with him tell him you don't have the money for one ask what you could do to use it a while long maybe get some part time work so you can get one of your own you can also ask your parents if they could get you one if he wants it back you'll have to give it to him you can't keep something that doesn't belong to you.
