I have a fender squire telecaster that I practice on and I have been playing guitar for a while. I would say I'm close to being a intermediate player. I want the kind of amp to practice on at home and possibly record on my MacBook. I won't be using it outside of my home. I preferably like to play chill, blues, pop and surf type of guitar.. not heavy medal or anything like loud and crazy like that. I'd be willing to pay like max 350$. And I would like to be able to have the option to loop my guitar playing (even if it's an add on pedal) , and pre recorded drum patterns. Ive been looking everywhere! I just need some suggestions of different types of amps that fit that description.. please help! I've been looking day and night but there are too many to chose from. Any ideas?

It reaches a point where every electric guitar is a special purpose instrument. You can't tell whether the electrics developed to go with the style of playing, or vice versa.
First decide on tubes or transistors. It depends on what kind of pickup you have. If you use tubes, you may need to select some tone stuff to get a sound you like. And it usually takes a lot of experimenting.
Thanks for the tip... however I do find it difficult to understand the all guitar lingo. (I didn't realize how complicated guitar amps were) I'll do some reading. I hope I can find an amp that fits my needs.
