Religious-freedom guarantees citizens, and have protected and extended their civil liberties. The answer to this question, is based on the thinking of any one person. A person might believe that a certain diet will make him healthier. But should he impose that diet on everyone else, as if it were the only way to healthy living?
We all have different taste and styles, however we need to ask, is there one body of religious truth that applies to all mankind?
According to the Bible, mankind started out with one religion or rather one way of serving God, (Genesis 2:16, 17) Jehovah God also gave this command to the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.”
If that one religion is based on the Bible, and we apply it, then it would work. Additional information can be found on this site. www.jw.org
Our spiritual condition have an impact on our physical and mental health. This evidence is in harmony with a statement made by Jesus Christ nearly 2,000 years ago. He said: “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.” (Matthew 5:3) Therefore our health and happiness are influenced by our spiritual condition.
It would be impossible to study all the thousands of religions inside and outside Christendom before making a choice. However, if—as Jesus said—we use truth and fruitage as touchstones, it is possible to identify true religion.
I have found that one true religion and i can say I have religious freedom from the bondage of false religious teachings. You can too and join over eight million who have found the true religion..

Freedom is extremely important whether it's religious or secular. However it's relative and our choices always have consequence.
It is evident that God does not force his opinion on mankind but desire us to worship him of our own free will.
Thus in principle we have the choice to choose the religion we want, just as we have the freedom to jump of a three story building, however if we love life we likely wont do that.
In the same manner if we love our creator we will choose the religion that pleases him.
Also it is to our benefit to adopt the religion that is in harmony with God's will.
(Deuteronomy 30:19) . . . I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction; and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive. . .
The context of this scripture show the importance, not only of choosing the right religion but also the consequences of practicing a religion that is displeasing to God, it's our choice.
Best Regards

Jesus Christ pointed out a simple way to enjoy true freedom. He said: “If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31, 32) Jesus’ direction for gaining true freedom involves two requirements: First, accept the truth that he taught, and second, become his disciple. Doing so will lead to true freedom. But freedom from what? Jesus went on to explain: “Every doer of sin is a slave of sin. . . . If the Son sets you free, you will be truly free.”

Religious freedom is the key to achieve our ultimate goal of enlightenment, liberation and salvation. Without religious freedom, if we have to blindly follow scriptures and if we consider it as blasphemous to ask questions against our religion, we will live and die in ignorance. If there was just one religion to follow, I would not follow any religion because all religions are good but all religions stop us from the quest of God. My goal is God, I want God, and God is beyond all religions. God is the power. God lives in the temple of my heart and therefore, I would leave all religions and evolve in my journey of spirituality, which is not a religion.
