I'm writing a book and the wife is kidnapped and the husband is trying to find her and the guy that took her is leaving creepy riddles to lead him to his wife.

Well, the setting and the time period (and the villain's motives) would be helpful, but here's what I've got so far:
If you want to find me,
you must climb the tree.
Do not fall, or you may break,
but look across the lake.
If you fear for your wife,
remember, I may take her life.
Well, I hope this helped, but I could probably give you more with a little more information. Good luck!
The main character got in an accident and he lost his memory, he has been home with his wife and daughter for about a week and then his wife goes missing the guy who took her is in love with her, and wants to rub it in that he has her and wants to make the main character pay for taking her from him.. The main character was in a coma for 9 months and in his coma he had a vision of his wife screaming and being dragged away, and as she was being pulled away she dropped a key with the numbers 321 on it and it was bloody, he picked it up and put it in his pocket, one day while he is doing laundry after his wife goes missing he finds the same key in his pocket and remembers his vision and he decides that the police aren't helping enough so he takes his daughter and starts to look for his wife, but he barley remembers her so he doesn't have much to go off of and that is when he starts finding the clues leading to where the kidnapper is keeping her.
