Though not a question, I would like help from others who may or may not have experienced this. But first, allow me to explain.
Recently I noticed one of my teeth felt weird while I was brushing it (Not too painful) and so I went to the dentist to get it checked. I explained to the dentist and she performed an air test on my gums. So when she found the spot, she said I should use Sensodyne and rub it on that spot. But, I should've asked some questions before leaving.
So, I was wondering, how do I go about this? Do I brush my teeth with regular toothpaste (Crest, etc.) and then apply Sensodyne to specific area? Or do I just brush with the Sensodyne toothpaste? I read I should also use a thin layer before sleeping, but, if I brushed with Sensodyne then apply more would it be safe? Btw, my family doesn't have gum disease, etc. This was caused by how I brush my teeth. So tips on how to properly do so, as well as brush my gums (downwards motion, etc.) would be greatly appreciated. Also share your experience if you'd like!
Sorry if it's kinda long, but I really want help. Thank you!
Thank you for your response!
My toothpaste simply just says to brush with it 2-4 weeks and twice a day. I'm just worried since I need to use it (my dentist suggested it and I trust her) that my other teeth may get damaged. I've read Sensodyne makes teeth sensitive, so I don't know what I should do.
Btw, do you know if I can ever completely get rid of this sensitivity? Have you experienced something like this?
Anyways, thanks again for your help!
