I know milk is not good for horses but I read several recipes online that included milk in their treats. Is it okay to give treats made with milk to horses?

Most large mammals become lactose intolerant after a certain age (Usually weaning) If the treats are hard or crunchy they should be fine, but only feed them to your horse and ask owners before giving their horse the treat. Watch the horse for diarrhea. Sorry, but that is the best I know.
