Hi! I'm Alexis Carter. I love writing. I'm a writer, well, i'm in 6th grade, so I suppose I cannot seem to find the perfect thing to write. I love writing fanfiction! I think I may have found what I REALLY want to write about, but I can't seem to find the will to write about it. I have so many ideas, but I never seem to want to write them. How do I over-come this? Help needed ASAP! -Alexis

Well, I'm a creative writer and i have had writers block before, so i know what it's like. Hard! I suggest writing a story about fake things, like dragons and unicorns. I'd write the whole story for you here, but then it just wouldn't be yours. Besides, i'm not so sure that we're the same gender. Alex can be a girl name and a boy name. And boy stories are not the same as girl stories. I mean, a boy won't want to read a story about fairies and unicorns dancing on the sun, would they? Well, i hope you have good luck on your story. One more piece of advice. Use creative words! I'll give you a story starter and a topic. "The creature lurked in darkness, unseen by the others outside in the sunlight. The humans, or outsiders, were a threat to it." It's about a scary creature, maybe a dragon, or you could make one up. Basically, it doesn't want to be seen by humans, which it calls outsiders. Tell readers what happens when humans see it.
Hi Alexis. That's cool that you want to write, and that you write fan-fiction.
I want to ask you something. If you've found what you really want to write about, but you can't find the will to write it, then it's probably fear you're facing. Other writers call it 'resistance'. Resistance is scary, but the only way out of the fear is through it.
So plant yourself in your writing chair, and start writing. Write anything. Talk about what you're afraid of. Write about what you see in your head. Doesn't matter if it's 'good' or not. The first four to seven times you write something, it might seem good, but a week later you can read it again, and it's really stinky.
But don't give up. Try to fix what you've written. Write about what gets you excited. Write the stories you'd love to read, whatever that looks like. Find a friend to read part of it, and tell you what they loved, and maybe what they'd like to see more of in it.
Keep working on it. Fan-fiction is nothing but fun, so don't think of it as work. I wrote a story myself, and I have a blog of fan-fiction I wrote around that story. It's just fun, and it's for the love of the work.
The perfect thing for you to write is whatever you most want to write. The more you write, the better your stories will get. But you have to actually sit down and do it, even if you're afraid. Good luck!
You have no idea how much you helped me!! Thank you soo much!!!
Well, I think the lack of your will is called no muse or no idea interest in the research itself. I am lucky that I found the way out from this vicious circle.
