I love reading history than anyother I want to be an archaeologist or historian is it worth?

i am doing std10 in an matric.school ,is it worth financially in life to be an archaeologist? i have great desire to learn history but i heard that learning history is worth less, is it true? please help me!i am confused

well you could pursue it you can be a professor if what your doing is your passion you will feel fulfilled  and who can say you can also be in the history if you can discover something that is worth it
